Accounting:  Bank balance remaining from 2024-2025 Season after banquet $1145.42.  We anticipated this to be less.  Since we did not have a Home-Home series the second place team money remained in the bank account.

Banquet:  For the 2025-2026 QCPL Season we will not be paying the first and second place teams.  Voted and agreed on by the captains.  The money will go to pay for Individual plaques for each half winner (these will be given to the each player on the first or second half winning team and will contain the names of all the players on the team. We will locate the League Champion trophy and update the missing champions.  This will be displayed at the league champion’s club for one year.  NO MONEY will be given to the league champion team, this will go towards the banquet food and individual plaques.  We will continue with the table games and have envelopes with various gift certificates for the players.  Banquet dates will be set at a later date and I will try to make sure tickets are available before the end of league play.

Tournaments:   Singles at Davignon 1/17/26 - 2/7/26, Doubles at Cercle 2/28/26 - 3/21/26.  Best of the Rest will be on 2/14/26 at the Davignon and Tournament of Champions will be at the Cercle on 2/21/26.

League:  We will again start at 6:30 PM.  Six matches will be played each night.  Ghost players can be used only if not enough players attend, with a maximum of 2 ghost matches a night.  Clubs fee is $100 per team and players will pay $20 per half.  Captains will collect from players ASAP with the anticipation of paying by week four of the season.  Teams can add/drop players from roster through week 4 as long as they have not played for any team in the half.  All ball fouls, the ball must actually move (clothing or hair can touch as long as ball does not move).

Lenny stated that the visiting team would break every game but this is an error.  Visiting team breaks games 1, 3, and 5 and home team breaks games 2, 4, and 6.

Handicaps:  New players start at 4.0 for males and 3.5 for females.  If you know a new player should start higher please let a committee member know .  (Handicap committee consists of Ron Michaud, Eric Milanese, Bob Gagne, Sue Novak and Lenny Pappas Jr. as the tie breaker).   These will be updated and scores corrected at the October 22nd captains and handicap committee meeting.  If possible play new players at least twice in the first weeks so the handicap committee has stats to view.

Next Meeting:  October 22nd at the Davignon at 6:30pm.
